Welcome to My Brother's Keeper of Charlotte!
My Brother’s Keeper of Charlotte is a nonprofit organization focused on assisting and inspiring the community to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
Our mission is to eliminate hunger in the community.
Our approach is simple: Children and adult volunteers prepare and hand-pack brown bags which consist of one sandwich, one piece of fruit, one bottle of water and one snack, on a weekly basis, which is this distributed to those less fortunate.
How are we funded? We get asked this question often. We’ve been able to provide food assistance and some training through private donations from members of our community and businesses. We also have awesome, caring volunteers, of all ages, who work the vendor stands at sports events for fundraising.
